This class combines active and passive stretching, joint-friendly movements, and mindful techniques to enhance range of motion, release tension, and build resilience in the body. By improving both flexibility and functional mobility, you’ll cultivate strength, balance, and longevity in your movement—whether for daily life or your favorite activities.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga uses props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support deep relaxation. This practice encourages the body to shift into the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting rest, healing, and stress relief. With poses held for 5-10 minutes, Restore creates a meditative space for breathwork, deep relaxation, self-care, and renewal.

River Roots Mental Health & Wellness
Yoga for Stress Reduction & Mental Wellness: Includes isometric movements to fortify you from within, a slow flow for mastering controlled movements, stretches to enhance flexibility, balancing poses to quiet mental chatter, breath work to soothe the nervous system, and guided meditation to ease the mind.
It is conducted by a yoga instructor who is also a licensed mental health professional. The class is capped at 12 participants to ensure a safe and personal environment.
The self-care investment for this session is $20/week.

Tune inward and let go of your surroundings. In guided meditations, you are often asked to find a comfortable position, whether that be seated or lying down, or anything your body requests. Naturally, our minds like to wander, be distracted, and simply not like to focus on one thing or nothing at all. Being guided in a meditation encourages you to keep your attention on your intention. Words, mantras, stories, visualizations or objects may be the topic.
